Spring is finally upon us and after the realisation that all of my shoes are black, I thought it was about time to get myself of pair of shoes that are perfect for the Spring!
I’ve noticed that ‘the point’ is coming back! More and more shoes from both the hughstreet and Catwalk could possibly poke my eyes out! However, I never thought I’d say it, but I’m actually a big fan of the look, however no were near as brave to bare the style. I think these Zara shoes are absolutely perfect! They’re ‘on point’ if I do say so myself!
Personally, I hate wearing sandals and I can never find a shoe that mixes both sandal and shoe together without revelling the toes. The snapback strap of this shoe is remarkably conformable and the adorable foots strap ensure that the shoe stays on, as well as providing a girly finish to such an elegant shoes.
I was adamant that my first pair of Spring shoes HAD to be lady like, as the majority of my shoes are clumpy and makes my outfits look more grunge, when in the Spring/Summer i really want a shoe that makes me want to elegantly hop through a mystical field of daisies.
These little gems have the perfect point for those like me not daring enough to jump on such a controversial trend. The aspect that I well and truly adore about the shoes is the peaked trim nearing the front of the shoe making the legs look that little bit longer, everybody loves a bit of toe cleavage, right? As well as the oval shape of the shoe elongating the legs, as well as edging its way towards the pointy shoe trend, but sitting on the safer side.
The shoe comes in two colours, black and rosy pink. As tempting as it was to stick in my safety zone and opt for the black, I think that the dusty rosy pink is possibly the definition of classy. I was concerned at first that the pink would completely wash me out as I’m tremendously pale as it is, however they’re just the perfect combination of nude and pink and I think they’d look beautiful with everything from a floaty dress to a pair of jeans.
My worry with shoes like this is that they’re always an absolute neck ache to break in, however I haven’t had that problem with these at all! The suede is ridiculously soft so I can’t imagine anyone having problems with breaking them in.- Well, unless you’ve bought the wrong size. The inside of the shoe is cushioned in all the places that you’d want it… everywhere! I think the musky nude inside of the shoe just adds the perfect finishing touch to the shoes and just making them that little bit more classy! The inside sole definitely looks whipeable and durable, so those trips to the beach and park hopefully won’t be a problem. I don’t think there’s anything worse than having black foot marks on the inside of your pretty lady shoes.
/If you’re looking for that perfect spring shoe and don’t want to break the bank I’d reccomened snapping these up from Zara for £19.99 – I don’t think Ive ever found such a bargain in my life. My crystal ball is telling me that these are going to be a hit! Kudos to Zara for being on point this season with such a beautiful shoe!
Love,
Abigail
