12 DAYS OF BLOGMAS | THE ULTIMATE GIFT GUIDE

ON THE 5TH DAY OF BLOGMAS, BLUSH & NOISE GAVE TO ME.. THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE!

I feel like I’ve been itching to do a gift guide on my blog for as long as I remember, however I’ve never actually gotten round to doing one, so yeah, look at me doing something that I want to for a change! I have clustered together a few purchases that I think would be perfect for christmas gifts, maybe for your friend, sister, cousin or even your girlfriend. Christmas is a time for sharing and giving, I think a well thought about and personal gift is a perfect way to say ‘Thank you’ or ‘I Love You’ and that’s what christmas is all about! Christmas doesn’t have to be a materialistic and show offish holiday, we don’t all need fancy gifts and expensive trinkets, so here’s my gift guide for the Creative Girl, the Home Girl and the Beauty Girl – I hope you can pull some inspiration from this! Enjoy!

THE HOME GIRL

Don’t confuse ‘The Home Girl’ with any old Jenny from the block, the home girl is practically ever girl during the winter. We want to be at home in our pjs, lying in our beds in our amazingly decorated and cosy bedrooms – Am I right ladies?

The home girl needs some snazzy and stylish homeware, I’ve picked this Copper Picture frame from Paperchase.  A touch of copper really adds something to a room, it’s something a little different, although it’s popular at the minute it’s a ‘craze’ that I really love. You could fill the picture frame with the giftee’s favourite photographs, or even drop in a nice little message or poem that they like! With picture frames you can really customise how it is! You can make the gift really meaningful! Another homeware item that i’ve been literally obsessed with is this little scatter cushion from a little brand called Scottie & Russell. This cushion would make such a cute little gift for maybe a secret santa or even a stocking filler! I will leave the link for the cushion at the end of the post, as Shop Style unfortunately don’t have a link to it, but I got your back!

Every home girl needs some cute lounger wear! I found these grumpy bear slippers on ASOS and I just fell in love with them! A pair of cute novelty slippers would once again, make the perfect little stocking filler gift, I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t be happy with a pair of cosy slippers, especially when they’re got such a cute bear on them! My boyfriend always tried to wear these slippers because they’re that comfy and cosy!

THE BEAUTY GIRL

There’s nothing better than a little beauty treat for those who love their makeup and skin care! A few of these items are for my sister, as I know she’d appreciate some of these little pamper items! I think a beauty gift is the perfect way of saying ‘ treat yourself and relax’ which is something probably all of us need to be told from time to time – Especially if you’re naturally a stressed out anxious human like myself! I picked up a little gift set from Soap & Glory, as I think they do the best and most affordable christmas gift sets! The set I picked up was the Eyes Box which consists of a few makeup products from mascara to eyebrow pencil, eyebrows and eye makeup have definitely been a massive crave throughout 2015, so this is the perfect gift for any beauty fanatic.

Speaking of eyes, I have a more luxurious option of the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette the packaging is just so beautiful and cute, which makes it a really special gift, if we’re talking about ashstethics anyways! The quality of these eyeshadows are outstanding, this is by far on of my favourite palettes, I think if this was to be gifted to be I would be so overwhelmed! This is the perfect gift for someone that you’re really wanting to spoil this year! Now every beauty lover will know, want to even have a Tangle Teezer! They come in so many different colours and styles, so they would make the perfect stocking filler gift – You can even buy a Tangle Teezer to match their styles, or even the colour of their handbag!

Now onto some skincare items! Skincare always makes a brilliant gift, everyone loves a good old pamper when it comes to the cold, rainy winter months – Well at least I know I do! The Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser is one of my all time favourite cleansers! It’s perfect for sensitive skin, so If you’re not overly sure on their skin type or preferences, this is a really good option as I’ve never known it to be a problems for anyone! This year Liz Earle have launched a Limited Edition Pink Pepper & Mint scent in the cleanser, which smells divine! Lastly, I’ve chosen the Origins GinZing Refreshing Face Mask personally, I am a person hat NEEDS something like this, I’m up at 5am pretty much every weekday, so something like this is such a treat for my skin! This would be the perfect gift for your mum, something to really perk her up on a morning and make her feel ready and rearing to go! Lush also do some lovely gift sets for christmas (i’m actually giving one away click here to find out more) They’re good for mums, aunties, sisters, friends – You basically can’t go wrong with a Lush gift set!

THE CREATIVE GIRL

Obviously you don’t need to be considered ‘creative’ to want or have these items! However I thought they’re all sort of within that category! These are gifts that can be thoughtful little stocking fillers or main presents to your loved ones!

First up is this lovely little note pad from Oh Deer which I actually got off of ASOS! I am a complete note book hoarder! I love stationary and having them for writing notes at uni and even writing down my blogpost ideas! A great way to personalise this gift would to maybe buy a moleskin note book and get their name engraved onto it, or you could even simply write them a message on the inside. Maybe this person loves writing or drawing, or maybe they have a blog! Write them a note wishing them well and why you wanted them to have this notebook for all their doodles and thoughts!

If you know someone that’s really into their films, or even art, a book about their favourite director or artist would be a perfect gift! I’ve picked the Wes Anderson Collection which is basically a little inside into his films with some really beautiful pictures and artwork! I love little things like this just to flick through when I’m feeling a little uninspired, because Wes Anderson, to me, is every possible ascetically pleasing thing in the world. His films are beautiful, you could even buy them a book and a DVD to go along with it!

Lastly is a gift that I know is going to be on practically everyone’s christmas list, it’s the Fujifilm Instax Mini, although in the long run this may be an expensive gift, as the film will need to be repurchased when it runs out, however you can buy bundle kits so they can get everything that they need and more all at once! A gift like this is just so fun, especially if they’re into photography! However, even if they’re not, it’s so much fun to take this out and about with you to parties and just on a daily basis, it’s a gift that someone can really enjoy and potentially a little hobby for them too!

Hope you enjoyed todays Blogmas instalment! See you on Friday for the next one!

Love,
