I cannot believe how quickly the months are flying by, it’s June this week which is absolutely mind boggling for me! It’s almost time to endeavour the long drive down to Glastonbury for a song and dance, and it’s almost 3 years since I launched my blog, where has the time gone? The end of a month never feels right when I haven’t completed it by finalising my favourite bits and bobs from that month and of course this is something that I will always share on the blog! This month I’ve discovered quite a few new beauty favourites, as well as finding the perfect sunnies and a new little gadget that I just can’t get enough of!

As usual, I’m going to be starting with my beauty favourites, as that’s what you’re here for right? First up is something that isn’t a product that I would have never thought I’d dream of using, never mind loving – That’s right we’re talking about a gradual tan here, we’re talking about St. Tropez Instant Healthy Glow Gradual Tan  I actually got this as a sample, and when it runs out I will be picking up the full size version for sure! I apply it after a shower/bath and simply massage it onto my arms or legs, or where-ever you desire, then as the hours pass by you’re magically granted with a healthy glow! Being pale, I always find that tanning products can be a little too orange and smell way too strong for my liking, however this tan is very fair and natural and although there is that infamous smell of fake-tan, it’s not overly pungent or overpowering!

Next up is a product that I’ve completely been using the wrong way, however I’ve been loving it! I’ve been using this bronzer as an eyeshadow over the past month and it’s been an absolute dream! This bronzer is warm toned, therefore it doesn’t really suit my complexion when it’s used as a bronzer, however I’m a massive fan of warm toned eye makeup, I find that it really helps make my eyes ‘pop/. I’ve been using this as an eyeshadows base and simply blending it into some orange toned browns for the perfect every-day look! This texture of this is very silky, therefore it sits on the eyelids very well and it’s super easy to blend!

As you already most probably know, I’m a little bit of a lip product fiend and my new obsession is liquid lipsticks so inevitably there’s always going to be a mention of a lip product in basically every monthly favourites! This month I’ve been truly obsessed with the brand ‘NYX’ as they’ve recently launched a whole bunch of their makeup stands in Boots all around the UK! I absolutely love all of the NYX products that I’ve tried so far, there’s going to be a haul post coming very soon to justify my elaborate purchases! Nevertheless, I’ve been loving their Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks! The formula is a cross between their Soft Matte Lip creams and you’re average liquid lipsticks, these don’t feel as heavy and tacky as your usual liquid lipsticks which is also a bonus! The shade range is also very on trend right now as they’re all within that pink/brown theme that practically everyone has been loving lately!

I’ve been trying not to wear foundation as much lately, as when I’m going to work or not really doing all that much, I simply can’t be bothered with the faff of it all when I’m in a rush! However I do like to look as though I’ve somewhat made an effort, it’s a dilemma indeed! Concealer has got to be every girls best friend, this one in particular has taken over any other concealer I’ve owned In terms of covering redness and blemishes. I’ve had this concealer for a good few months now, and I’ve been wearing it practically everyday! It’s really long lasting and it doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on the skin considering it’s a full cover concealer! If you’re in the market for a new concealer than I can’t recommend this one enough!

I bought this eye product on a whim, I’d never heard much about it or overly new what it’s purpose was however over the past few weeks I’ve gotten to grips with how to use it to my benefits. Similarly to the NYX cream shadow pencil in ‘Milk’ which is popularly used as a water line eyeliner to brighten your eyes and have them appear bigger and wider – However I think the white eyeliner can be quite harsh and un-natural for an everyday look, so I’ve been using this eyeliner in the same way, it works in exactly the same way, however just a little less noticeable, it’s a really subtle way to brighten your eyes and make you appear more awake even though you could do with another 4 hours sleep

Summer is slowly making an appearance here in the UK, we’ve been getting some delightful weather in dribs and drabs over the past few weeks, so my sunglasses have been more of an essential than ever! I’m probably the worst person when it comes to sunglasses, I literally lose every pair that I’m emotionally attached to, no joke! I’ve been loving theses Spitfire tortoise shell round sunnies that I got from ASOS recently! The shape really suits the shape of my face and they’re so comfortable around the ears! They weren’t the cheapest sunnies ever (around £30) however I really do think they’re worth it, ASOS have such a great selection of sunglasses from cheap and cheerful to the elaborate and expensive so I can definitely recommend you having a little look!

Over the past few years my interest in cameras and photography has practically sky rocketed! I studied Media/Film in college and sixth form and now at uni I study TV & Radio, so my hobbies are sort of interlocked with my ‘profession’ – I use that term very loosely, as despite me studying the hell out of things like this, I still know the basics however somewhat well so that’s a start right? I’ve had this camera for a few months now and I’ve finally started to get my grips with it! Throughout the Summer I wanted to be able to document what I was up to, however I didn’t want to be dragging around my hefty DSLR which I use for all my usual beauty and fashion blog posts, I wanted something that had great quality however was a lot more portable. I’ve been loving my Olympus Pen over the past month as I’ve been taking it out and about with me a lot more – It’s perfect for shooting decent quality video, photos and of course it has a drop down screen so you can take selfies – What more could you want?

What have you been loving this month?
