Who else is finding themselves craving the feeling of sunshine on your face and the smell of freshly cut grass in the air (minus the hayfever of course) It seems as though Winter is lingering around forever and with the snow that we’ve had this week, it seems as though Winter isn’t quite over yet. We’re in that strange part of the season when we don’t really know what to wear. The sun will occasionally shine and I’m so ready for floaty dresses and mini skirts, however, It’s cold out there and 100 layers will still be needed. Around this time is when I start to feel a little bit uninspired when it comes to day-to-day dressing. I want to wear colour, however, I feel as though we’re just not quite there yet on the weather front.
To beat the transitional period blues, I’ve decided to let me accessories do the talking and thanks to Radley, I’ve been able to piece together the perfect outfit that represents my personal style perfectly as well as keeping on trend and adding a hint of colour as an ode to the sunshine that I miss so much.

Personal style is obviously very unique to each person, however, sometimes I feel somewhat weighed down by my wardrobe and as though I’m not venturing out of my comfort zone enough. Since I was about 15/16 I’ve always stuck to pieces with a slight 60’s or 70’s twist. It’s just what I feel comfortable in. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying out some different looks and styling items in my wardrobe different ways, as well as trying to feel confident in what I wear. In all honesty, I felt a little bit silly wearing clothes that were slightly revealing or dressed up, it’s just not me and I suppose it’s taken that leap of faith for me to realise that sometimes it’s best to stick with what you know.
So, now that I’ve accepted that fact that sometimes change isn’t the best option. I’ve been adding some fun accessories in to my outfits to make them feel more ‘fashion’ if you know what I mean. I think accessorising can do SO much to an outfit and completely transform it.
ACCESSORY FAVES
There are so many ways to mix-up your outfits. My two favourite ways have to be adding on a classic bad to smarten the look up and then adding on either a Baker Boy Hat or Beret to give the outfit a fun touch. My Radley Bow Lane* is the perfect bag for adding a sophisticated vibe to any outfit and just generally pulling it all together. The shape of the bag has something very retro about it and the size is perfect for everyday use.

Now that is my type of bag! For a Radley, it's quite subtle but so cute! Their bags are so well made! Bring on that sunshine, I am fed up of frozen toes and dry skin right now! Sarah :)Saloca in Wonderland
