Pixi Beauty Eye Reflections Palettes | First Impressions

Pixi Beauty Eye Reflections Palettes | First Impressions

This post contains gifted products.

Festival season is on the horizon and it’s time to dust off your glitter eyeshadow palettes and let me have a little bit of fun. I was recently gifted these STUNNING eyeshadow palettes by Pixi and I thought I’d share my first impressions and what I think of the palettes so far, as I think they’re such a great size and the shade ranges are perfect to see you through festival season, nights out and even right the way through to the festive season. The Eye Reflections palettes are sure to add a sparkle into your step.

Glitter Eyes ‘Til I Die…

The palettes come in 3 different shade ranges; Mixed Metals, Reflex Light & Natural Beauty. Each palette has 12 eyeshadow pans with a variety of stunning pigmented glitters, there’s no mattes here! I don’t own any eyeshadow palettes that are 100% dedicated to shimmer/glitter shadows, so having a palette like the Eye Reflections was needed within my makeup collection. I’ve recently been attempting to use up a lot of my makeup and only repurchase items that I actually need in my collection and I feel as though these palettes are oh so appropriate right now, especially with Festival Season on the horizon.

Shades & Pigmentation

I have 2 of the palettes out of the 3; Reflex Light & Natural Beauty. The shades within the Reflex Light palettes are definitely more up my street. They’re a beautiful range of coppers, golds and warm tone shimmers that really compliment and enhance my eye colour. The Natural Beauty palette is stunning, there’s some really beautiful everyday shimmers in there that can be used no matter what the occasion may be. However, my heart lies with the Reflex Light palette for sure.

Regarding pigmentation (which is what we’re all here for, right?) Pixi aren’t messing about when it comes to stunning, creamy and pigmented shimmers. I personally always apply shimmers with my fingers, I find that the payoff with brushes is never that great, no matter what palettes I use, but using your finger makes the shadows look almost metallic with next to no fall-out.

Overall Opinion & First Impression

Pixi have completely won my heart when it comes to their skincare products, a good 50% of my skincare collection consists of Pixi. Now, however, they’re really upping the ranks with their makeup range. I LOVE their liquid lipsticks and now the Eye Reflections Eyeshadow palettes have won me over too. The palettes are amazing quality and the shade ranges are truly stunning. I’d love to see a hybrid of all 3 palettes in one, I think that would be perfect for any makeup lover and the perfect go-to palette for festival seasons to come.

Until next time x
